Terms and Rental
The terms that apply when you book a space at the Harbor Event Center. Your signed rental agreement governs your specific event; these terms cover everything else.

Who we are
Harbor Event Center is a venue for hire at 3100 St. Lucie Blvd, Fort Pierce, FL 34946. You can reach us at info@harboreventcenter.com or (772) 461-6350 during office hours, Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
This site exists for renting the facility. It is operated separately from any ministry or organization that occupies the building.
Requesting a date
Submitting a request does not reserve a date. A request tells us what you need so we can confirm the space is available, agree the hours for your event, and build your quote. Event start and end times are agreed per booking rather than fixed by a standard schedule.
A date is only held once we approve your request and you have paid and signed the rental agreement. Until then the date remains open to others.
Payment
Once approved, your quote is payable in full to confirm the booking. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. Prices are in US dollars.
A refundable security deposit of $100 applies to facility rentals, on the terms set out in your signed rental agreement. It covers damage, excessive cleaning, or time used beyond the hours booked.
Cancellations and refunds
You may cancel up to 7 days before your booking starts for a full refund of what you have paid. Cancel from your account and the refund is issued automatically to your original payment method. Refunds normally take five to ten business days to appear, depending on your bank.
Within 7 days of your booking we cannot refund automatically, because the date has been held for you and turned away from others. Contact us and we will do what we reasonably can.
If we cancel your booking for any reason, you receive a full refund, including any security deposit.
Your rental agreement
Before your event you sign a rental agreement covering conduct, capacity, setup and teardown, insurance, and what the space may be used for. That agreement governs your event. Where it and these terms differ, the signed agreement wins.
We keep a copy of the exact version you signed, along with the date and time, so both sides can see precisely what was agreed.
Using the space
You are responsible for your guests and vendors, for leaving the space as you found it, and for finishing within the hours you booked. The building has other occupants and other bookings, so overrunning affects real people, not just a schedule.
We may decline or end a booking that risks people, property, or our obligations to other occupants.
Events and tickets
Where we sell tickets to our own events, each ticket admits one person and is valid only for the event named on it. Ticket refunds follow the policy shown at the time of purchase. If an event is cancelled, ticket holders are refunded in full.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version in force for your booking is the one published when you paid, together with the rental agreement version you signed. Material changes will not be applied retroactively to a confirmed booking.
